Hi there! I’m Nate Reifenheiser — and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. I’ve been practicing mindfulness meditation for the past 2 decades and I’ve been teaching spirituality and mindfulness for over 3 years. I’m a spiritualist and I’ve also been known to practice Yoga from time to time.
I created Zen Craft because I know how frustrating it can be to want to meditate and still feel like you’re doing it wrong. I’ve been there—sitting down with the best intentions only to feel overwhelmed, distracted, or self-critical. That’s why I teach mindfulness in a way that’s simple, grounded, and judgment-free. You won’t find guru-speak or spiritual pressure here. Just honest guidance, practical tools, and a commitment to helping you build calm awareness from wherever you are, right now. My goal isn’t to help you escape your thoughts—it’s to help you relate to them with clarity, patience, and peace of mind.
Zen Craft is more than a name—it’s a philosophy of mindful living, shaped by practicality, not perfection. We believe that peace of mind isn’t something you stumble upon in a retreat center—it’s something you build through presence, patience, and small, meaningful rituals.
Here, mindfulness isn’t a trend. It’s a tool. Whether you’re just starting out or returning to your practice after life got loud, Zen Craft offers accessible, science-informed guidance to help you reconnect with the present moment—without judgment or overwhelm.
From beautifully designed resources to immersive courses and curated inspiration, everything we create is made to support your journey back to clarity, calm, and confidence.
No guru-speak. No gatekeeping. Just everyday awareness, made real.
Zen Craft was born from a simple truth: most people are overwhelmed, overextended, and quietly craving space to breathe. We exist to meet that need—not with empty platitudes or rigid discipline, but with tools that actually work in the real world. Tools that make peace of mind feel doable, not distant.
We know what it’s like to sit down to meditate and feel like you're doing it wrong. We’ve been the person trying to slow down in a fast-paced culture. And we’ve learned that mindfulness isn’t about escaping life—it’s about engaging with it more fully, more compassionately, and more awake.
If Zen Craft helps even one person take a deep breath, come back to their center, and move through life with more clarity… we’re doing what we came here to do.
Patrick Council is a comprehensive anticipatory design scientist—yes, that’s a mouthful, but it fits. His work lives at the intersection of mindfulness, problem solving, and automation. At Zen Craft, Patrick doesn’t just teach mindfulness—he re-engineers it for real life.
With a deep foundation in systems thinking and awareness-based design, Patrick builds frameworks that help people see clearly and act decisively. His approach transforms mindfulness from a feel-good buzzword into a precision tool for navigating complexity—whether that’s inner chaos or external overload.
Driven by a personal mission to create peace of mind through structured awareness, Patrick’s work helps individuals develop calm focus, diagnose unseen behavior loops, and design more intentional lives. If you’ve ever wished you could debug your thoughts like software, stabilize your emotional patterns like systems, or align your values like networked components—welcome.
